Gabriel Magalhaes of Lille was believed to have a few options to consider when it comes to deciding where his next career step would take him and it was expected he would have made his choice by the end of this week, but the moment has been temporarily delayed as another one has just appeared on the horizon. Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly decided to challenge Everton and Napoli for his signature.
The 22-year-old centre-back made 34 appearances (27 starts) in all competitions for the Ligue 1 side in 2019/20, and managed to get on the scoresheet once. Transfermarkt have him valued at €17 million at the moment, but the fact that he has three years remaining on his contract will likely affect the actual price in a way that the clubs interested won’t appreciate.
As Sky Sports report, there are also two unconfirmed clubs in the race apart from Napoli and Everton, while PSG see the young Brazilian as a potential successor for Thiago Silva who is out of contract.
