Paris Saint-Germain are set to launch an assault on Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to RevierSport.
The Saints could see both Edinson Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi leave in the summer transfer window and are now stepping up their efforts to sign the Gabonese forward.
And while Aubameyang himself is open to a summer move to Parc des Princes, persuading Borussia Dortmund to sell may prove to be mission impossible.
Namely, the Millionaires have been impressed with the player’s performances last season and with Ciro Immobile leaving, they are desperate to keep hold of his services.
The ball is now in PSG’s court and it remains to be seen whether the Saints can make Borussia Dortmund an offer they cannot refuse.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, 26, started the previous campaign on the right wing, but was eventually moved to centre forward and he did really well to score 16 goals in 33 Bundesliga appearances.
