PSG keen on Mauro Icardi

French giants Paris Saint-Germain are weighing up summer move for Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi, according to Sport Mediaset.

The Saints have seen Ezequiel Lavezzi move to China, while both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani could leave in the summer.

As a result, they are in the market for attacking reinforcements, with Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi one of the first names on their hit-list.

The Argentine striker has so far resisted temptation to leave the Nerazzurri, but he would probably be tempted by a lucrative offer from Parc des Princes.

Inter chairman Erick Thohir was in the stands as PSG faced Chelsea yesterday evening and Sport Mediaset claims the purpose of his visit was to discuss the sale of Mauro Icardi.

The 22-year-old wasted no time in proving his worth at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, making 80 Serie A outings since joining from Sampdoria and scoring 41 goals in the process.
