The Daily Mirror are today reporting that PSG could be keen to make a move for Chelsea full-bacl Ashley Cole.
Cole, who has just on year left on his contract at Stamford Bridge seems to relaxed that talks for a new deal have not started.
It seems that this has caught the attention of the big spending Ligue 1 side who are managed by Carlo Ancelotti who has worked with the Englishman in the past at the London club.
Ancelotti is trying to build a side that can challenge the biggest teams in Europe for the Champions League title and Cole’s experience and quality would be a fantastic signing for him in this transfer window.
The 31-year-old won Europe’s elite club competition with Chelsea last season and after now winning a whole host of trophies with the Blues, may feel as though it is time for a new challenge in his career.
Roberto Di Matteo is sure to want to keep one of his star players, however if the two parties cannot agree terms then he will know that Cole could leave on a free next year.
With Manchester United also seeming to keep tabs on the England international, it is certainly a story to keep an eye on.
