French outfit Paris Saint-Germain have signed Brazilian striker Nene on a three year contract. The forward, whose full name is Anderson Luis de Carvalho, arrives at Parc des Princes from Ligue 1 club AS Monaco. PSG have reportedly paid Monaco 5.5 million euros for the Jundai born striker’s services.
PSG have become Nene’s sixth European club. After stints with Paulista and Palmeiras in his native Brazil, Nene moved to La Liga with Mallorca in 2003. Spells with CD Alaves and Celta Vigo followed before Monaco signed him in 2007. He spent the 2008-09 season on loan at Espanyol.
Nene told PSG’s official website that he was delighted to sign for the club and said that the supporters and the stadium reminded him of life back in Brazil.
