PSG lead chase for Aurier
Paris Saint-Germain have moved to the front of the queue for Toulouse captain Serge Aurier, according to Le Parisien.
The Saints have given up on Dani Alves and instead turned their attention to the Ivory Coast star as they look to sign a new right-sided defender.
PSG coach Laurent Blanc and sporting director Olivier Letang have contacted the player to inform him of their interest as they plan to open talks with Toulouse officials.
The Saints have an excellent relationship with le Tefece president Olivier Sadran as witnessed by both Adrien Rabiot and Clement Chantome enjoying low cost loan spells at Stade Municipal.
Serge Aurier, 21, was hoping to move to English Premier League, but he is also interested in joining a top French club.
Marseille, too, are showing interest, but the €8 million asking price is likely to prove too much for OM as they have just splashed out on Romain Alessandrini and Michy Batshuayi.
Nani hints at summer exit
Manchester United winger Nani has admitted that he may have to leave Old Trafford this summer.
The 27-year-old signed a new five-year deal with the Red Devils in September 2013, but it appears his long-term future at the club is in doubt.
With the player having seen very little playing time over the last two years, he seems to be nearing the summer exit.
“I am a Manchester United player, but I have other options,” Nani told reporters after the Portugal’s clash with Ghana.
“Now I will evaluate and see what is best for me. Back to Portugal? At this point I don’t know.”
Portuguese newspaper A Bola claims that Inter Milan, Arsenal, Juventus and Benfica are interested in his services.
After making just 11 Premier League appearances for Manchester United last season, Nani started all three games for Portugal at the 2014 World Cup and was on the scoresheet in the 2-2 draw with USA.
Lille to sign Manchester City starlet
Lille are set to complete the signing of Portuguese attacker Marcos Lopes from Manchester City, O Jogo has learned.
The 18-year-old will join les Dogues on a one-year loan after impressing in several outings for the Citizens last term.
Marcos Lopes has shown a great deal of potential since joining the club from Benfica back in 2011, although he has yet to make his first Premier League appearance.
The youngster featured in four domestic Cup matches last term, and in turn earned rave reviews for his performances.
Manchester City officials regard him as an important player for the future, but were eager to farm him out on loan to gain much needed first team experience.
Lopes could face a fierce competition for starting places at Grand Stade Lille Metropole, but getting playing time will be much easier than at the Etihad.
