Paris Saint-Germain have made an offer to sign Lorient striker Kevin Gameiro worth €12 million, according to Le Parisien.
The Saints have announced big ambitions after the Qatari group completed the club takeover and they are already making concrete moves.
Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly offered €12 million for France international striker Kevin Gameiro, which is very close to Lorient’s valuation of the player.
Meanwhile, Valencia have raised their bid for the diminutive striker from €7 million to €10 million, although it looks as though that will not be enough to win the race for the 24-year-old.
Valencia club president Manuel Llorente is expected to meet Lorient chief Loic Fery in London to discuss the possibility of signing Kevin Gameiro.
The France international have a one year left on his contract and is widely tipped to leave Lorient at the end of the season, with Tottenham also keen on the player.
Gameiro has scored 22 league goals last season, the record bettered only by Lille’s Moussa Sow.
