French champions Paris Saint-Germain are weighing up January bid for AS Roma defender Antonio Rudiger, Sport Mediaset has suggested.
The Saints did not have time to sign a replacement for David Luiz as he joined Chelsea on transfer deadline day, but they plan to make things right in January.
PSG have so far been linked with moves for Rodrigo Caio and Victor Nilsson Lindelof, but the latest reports suggest they are also keen on Antonio Rudiger.
The Saints, who were looking at the German defender before he joined AS Roma last summer, are believed to be preparing a €30 million bid for the highly rated footballer, who is currently recovering from a difficult knee injury.
Antonio Rudiger, 23, enjoyed a promising debut season at Stadio Olimpico, making 30 Serie A appearances and scoring 2 goals, but he picked up a difficult knee injury in the build up to the Euro 2016 finals and is unlikely to return into action before the turn of the year.
