Paris Saint-Germain have joined the race to sign Torino defender Angelo Ogbonna, according to Tuttosport.
The Saints are on the lookout for a new centre-back after Diego Lugano joined Malaga and they are believed to be preparing an assault on the Italy international.
PSG boss Carlo Ancelotti is well aware of the player’s qualities and he is keen on signing one of the most talented defenders in Italian football.
Torino chiefs are hoping to keep hold of the highly rated defender, but they will be unable to reject a big money offer.
Angelo Ogbonna is currently valued at €20 million, although it is thought Il Granata would settle for less.
Juventus and Milan have so far shown interest in the 24-year-old, but Torino chiefs have made it clear they will not allow the player to join their local rivals.
Ogbonna has spent his entire career at Stadio Olimpico, but for a loan spell at Crotone in the 2007/2008 season.
