PSG looking at eight high-profile forwards

French media outlet L’Equipe has unveiled the list of potential targets for Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.

It is believed that the Saints plan to recruit a new centre forward in the January window and there are currently no fewer than eight footballers on their shortlist.

Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi and AC Milan hotshot Carlos Bacca have already been linked with moves to Parc des Princes, but other footballers on the list were not exactly mentioned in the press.

Veterans Carlos Tevez, Robin van Persie and Jonas are all seen as potentially good additions to the squad, while former Liverpool reject Iago Aspas is one of the biggest surprises.

According to L’Equipe, PSG are also looking at Ciro Immobile and Marcus Rashford, and they have yet to trim down the list to several names.

The Saints hope to mount a serious title challenge in this year’s Champions League and they are 40/1 chance to go all the way.
