Mateja Kezman has been included in the Paris Saint-Germain squad for their French Cup tie with amateur side Rodez on Wednesday – the first time the Serb has been involved in the first team since returning from a 15-day suspension.
Coach Paul Le Guen called the incident “unacceptable” at the time, but now says that it is time to forgive and forget. “It’s very clear – he’s been punished,” said the ex-Rennes and Lyon coach. “Things have been put straight, and we are now in the same situation as before – that is to say that there is competition for places. I’ll play him when I want to, when I think that he deserves it.”
