PSG monitoring Chiesa

Paris Saint-Germain are interested in Federico Chiesa of Fiorentina, according to a report by Italian outlet Rai Sport.

The son of former Italy international Enrico Chiesa is a very versatile forward, deployed mostly on the right flank of attack, but he’s also capable of performing on the left, as a central striker or just behind one. This is his third professional season, and he has so far played 97 games in all competitions and found the opposition net 20 times in the Viola shirt.

His talent has attracted the attention of a number of top European clubs, including Liverpool, Juventus and Real Madrid, but Fiorentina are keen on keeping their prized asset for a long time.

PSG are apparently considering the option of testing that resolve of the Serie A side, and with their main striker Edinson Cavani being 32, the addition of a young quality forward is set to become a priority for them soon. The Ligue 1 champions’ director Antero Henrique is currently monitoring the 21-year-old’s progress.
