Paris Saint-Germain are readying a summer bid for AS Roma star Miralem Pjanic, L’Equipe has revealed.
The Saints are hot on the trail of the Bosnian midfielder, who appears to be considering his options at the moment.
And while the French giants would have no problems matching Roma’s asking price, the Financial Fair Play rules could prevent them from getting their man.
However, L’Equipe has learned that PSG plan to reduce the cost of the transfer by sending Javier Pastore in the opposite direction.
It is no secret the Giallorossi are showing interest in the former Palermo star and a swap deal could prove to be a win-win situation.
Miralem Pjanic, 24, has developed into a key player at Stadio Olimpico and has managed 6 goals and as many assists in 33 Serie A outings this season.
Despite winning their last nine league matches, Roma look set to miss out on the Serie A trophy, but they are 2/5 to make it ten on the bounce against Catania.
