According to a report from Sky Sports News, Paris Saint-Germain are not giving up on the idea of bringing Idrissa Gueye over to the club. The French champions have been persistent over the course of the last few weeks, but as of yet, they’ve had no luck in convincing Everton to sell the 29 year old Senegal international. The expectation is that they will contact the Toffees tomorrow in order to try and push this through once and for all, although they aren’t willing to improve on their initial offer of £21.5 million. Everton, though, still want to hold out for around double that total.
PSG’s proposed sale of Yacine Adli is believed to free up the necessary funds for this move, due to the FFP regulations that are currently in place. PSG are known to have been under investigation in the past regarding their transfer dealings, with more eyes than ever before now on their situation.
