PSG not giving up on Thiago

According to a recent report from Le10 Sport, French champions Paris Saint-Germain have contacted Bayern Munich to make it clear that they are still interested in trying to sign Thiago Alcantara. For weeks now it’s seemed as if Liverpool are the favourites to secure his signature, but if this latest report is to be believed, PSG aren’t going to give up without a fight.

The club’s sporting director Leonardo has been at the heart of these talks, but even if the man himself is intrigued by the potential wages being offered by the team from the French capital, the allure of playing at Anfield is too much to pass up for some players.

After all, they are still technically the Champions of Europe, and that is the kind of honour that is going to follow them around during the entirety of Jurgen Klopp’s spell as manager on Merseyside – for better or worse.
