PSG open talks with Courtois’ representatives

With his contract expiring next summer, Thibaut Courtois is very interested in the project developing at Paris Saint-Germain, and the talks between the club and the goalkeeper’s entourage have already started, according to RMC Sport.

With Chelsea’s failure to qualify for next season’s Champions League looking increasingly likely, the Belgian could easily decide to move away from the club, and the French giants are ready to pounce. The outlet claim they have information about the talks being held, though they admit that PSG denied such activities when contacted, saying that they aren’t currently in talks with any player at all.

Courtois has been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge for a while now, though the most reported link connected him with Real Madrid. The case is the same with his compatriot Eden Hazard, while there have also been similar reports concerning the likes of Cesc Fabregas and Marcos Alonso.

With manager Antonio Conte set to leave as well, it’s not very hard to imagine his title-winning team falling to pieces and a big overhaul being conducted at the London club.
