PSG open to Wijnaldum loan offers in January

Paris Saint-Germain are willing to allow Georginio Wijnaldum to leave next month on loan for the second half of the season and are open to offers, according to Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol. The former Liverpool and Newcastle midfielder would be interested in returning to the Premier League, and at at the moment, Arsenal are one of the possible destinations.

Wijnaldum left Liverpool as a free agent at the end of last season, having played a huge part in their quest to return to the top. He made a total of 237 appearances in all competitions for the Merseysiders, helping them land the 2019 triple of the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup, as well as the Premier League in 2020.

The experienced Dutch international was on the brink of joining Barcelona for a while, but PSG swooped in and eventually stole the show. However, things haven’t gone exactly as planned for him in the French capital. He has started only seven of 17 Ligue 1 matches his team has played so far.
