La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Paris Saint-Germain are weighing up summer move for Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain.
It is no secret that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is considering his options seeing that his contract at Parc des Princes expires in the summer.
As a result, the Saints have no choice but to look for a new centre forward and they appear to have set their sights on Gonzalo Higuain.
Both chairman Nasser Al Khelaifi and head coach Laurent Blanc agree that the Argentine would be a very good replacement for Ibrahimovic, although the hefty price tag could prove to be a problem.
After bagging impressive 24 goals in 26 league outings this season, Higuain has become one of world’s hottest commodities and it would take a mega money offer to prize him away from Stadio San Paolo.
Having missed a chance to return to the top of the Serie A standings, Napoli are now priced at 5/4 to lift the league trophy.
