Race hots up for the FC Porto midfield asset Danilo Pereira.
The 25-year-old Guinea Bissau international has caught the eye of many a top European club this summer but Paris Saint-Germain are thought to have emerged as frontrunners with Unai Emery searching for replacements and upgrades on Blaise Matuidi and Grzegorz Krychowiak.
Juventus were the first ones to approach the powerful midfielder this summer but their offer worth €30 million was swiftly rebuffed.
Danilo Pereira has a €60 million release clause in his deal with the Portuguese giants, who seem to be reluctant to let him go for any less.
French media outlet L’Equipe suggest PSG would have no problem meeting the clause despite most recently forking staggering €222 million for Neymar, although it is added that French giants could deploy to use Antero Henrique, their sports director, to try and lower the asking price.
Danilo Pereira played 61 league matches for Porto since his arrival in 2015. He also added 10 goals during that time.
