French champions Paris Saint-Germain are said to have prepared a January plan for the transfer of Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Weigl.
Le Parisien suggests PSG boss Thomas Tuchel refuses to give up on his former protégée and is willing to explore all options in order to get reunited with the boy he worked with in Germany.
With Adrien Rabiot looking at the exit door at Parc des Princes, PSG will need to be active in the January transfer market and Tuchel himself has already suggested defensive midfield positions are the top priority for the winter.
PSG already tried to bring Weigl last summer but were met with BVB refusal. This time around, PSG are said to have prepared a loan offer for the German starlet with an obligation to buy for €20 million at the end of the season.
The 23-year-old Weigl is said to be relishing an opportunity to once again work with Tuchel and take part in PSG’s Champions League campaign.
