PSG president drops fresh Beckham hint

Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser al-Khelaifi says that the arrival of David Beckham would benefit the club in numerous departments.

The 36-year-old is likely to leave LA Galaxy when his contract expires in a couple of weeks, with Parc des Princes his most likely destination.

The Saints officials are working around the clock to persuade David Beckham into becoming a part of their new project, and president Nasser al-Khelaifi has no doubts over hiring the English veteran.

“David Beckham, it goes beyond sport,” Nasser al-Khelaifi was quoted as saying in L’Equipe.

“This is an ambassador, a brand, he is an example for others.

”But, he has also always been a very good player whose age is not a problem.”
