After prolonged talks between the two clubs, Paris Saint-Germain have reached an agreement with Inter Milan over the transfer of Achraf Hakimi, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Serie A champions will receive a total amount of €70 million, €60m upfront and €10m more in reasonably achievable add-ons. The talks were concluded successfully on Saturday evening and the medical ahead of the move is set to take place next week. If everything goes as planned and agreed, Hakimi will sign a five-year contract with PSG.
The 22-year-old right-back came through the ranks at Real Madrid and spent two years on loan with Borussia Dortmund, before being sold to Inter for €45m last summer.
Chelsea were also reportedly interested in the Morocco international, and preliminary talks were held, but they never sent any official offers for his services. Some reports suggest they’re already planning to take an alternative route by focusing on Denmark international Joakim Maehle, currently at Atalanta.
