Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that PSG are willing to pay as much as €150 million for the Germany international attacking midfielder.
Wirtz has been on the books of Bayer since 2020 and has established himself as one of the better players in the Bundesliga. The 21-year-old is one of the first names on the Bayer teamsheet. The Bayer ace has scored four goals and given one assist in six Bundesliga starts and has scored two goals in two UEFA Champions League matches so far this season. He scored 11 goals and provided 11 assists in 26 Bundesliga starts and scored four goals and gave four assists in eight UEFA Europa League starts last season.
PSG are at the top of the Ligue 1 table at the moment with 20 points from eight matches, level on points with second-placed AS Monaco. Meanwhile, Bayer currently find themselves fourth in the Bundesliga table with 14 points from seven games, three points behind leaders Bayern Munich.
