Paris Saint-Germain are set for another summer of improvements. Ligue 1 was won with even more ease than previous year, but the Champions League results are still very far from what the club want to achieve. Consecutive defeats in round of 16 are not good enough for the club that invests so much money and new signings are expected to further improve this side.
For that, PSG will want to raise some of the money they will use in the market, as they are prepared to let Thomas Meunier and Layvin Kurzawa go. According to L’Equipe, the full-back pair have made little progress in negotiations over their new contracts and the Ligue 1 champions would want to get the most possible cash out of them, rather than allow them leave on a free transfer.
L’Equipe estimates that the two players could earn PSG a total of €60m, with Manchester United and several other clubs already interested in Meunier.
