PSG readying summer bid for Suarez

Paris Saint-Germain have made Liverpool forward Luis Suarez their number one target for the summer, L’Equipe reveals.

The Saints have already come to terms with failed bids for Carlos Tevez and Alexandre Pato, and they are now identifying other targets.

According to L’Equipe, the Parc des Princes outfit are seriously considering a bid for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.

The 25-year-old has been an instant hit at Anfield, but he has been the subject of controversy of late, and Liverpool owners could decide to cash in on him in the summer.

The Uruguayan was first handed an eight-match ban for insulting Patrice Evra, before refusing to shake the Frenchman’s hand when the two sides met for the third time this season.

Suarez was heavily criticized for his latest incident by the club chiefs and nobody would be surprised if he leaves the club in the summer.

The controversial forward has a contract until June 2015 at Anfield, meaning that he won’t come cheap should the Reds decide to sell.
