After the latest spat between Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe and head coach Thomas Tuchel, the future of the 21-year-old once again came into focus with reports even suggesting that Real Madrid, with whom he has been linked most heavily of all, had been ‘invited’ to help solve the crisis. Sporting director Leonardo has been working hard to make peace at the Parc des Princes as well.
Mbappe is obviously unhappy with the way Tuchel has been managing his game-time, which basically comes down to the former Borussia Dortmund boss having him substituted when there is no visible need for it.
However, PSG have once again expressed the same stance regarding the future of Mbappe, and according to Marca, this time chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi made it clear directly to Mbappe’s representatives – the Frenchman will not be allowed to leave for any money this summer. The club won’t be entertaining any offers or enter into any discussions with any club about it.
The World Cup winner is tied to the Ligue 1 champions until 2022, and they will make fresh efforts to have him sign a new contract before then.
