French giants Paris Saint-Germain have opted against signing FC Porto hotshot Andre Silva, according to France Football.
The Saints were in the market for attacking reinforcements this winter and they did well to secure the signature of Julian Draxler while Goncalo Guedes should soon join the club as well.
It has now been revealed that super agent Jorge Mendes offered PSG the opportunity to bring Andre Silva from FC Porto, but sporting director Patrick Kluivert rejected the deal.
The talented forward has been making waves ever since he was promoted to the first team set-up and he has enjoyed a breakthrough season this term.
Silva went on to score 11 goals in 18 league outings, while netting 4 times in first 5 appearances for the Portugal national team.
There are quite a few top sides hot on his trail at the moment, but Paris Saint-Germain are clearly not interested.
