French heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain have rejoined the race for Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez in the wake of the player’s latest comments about his future.
Speaking about his current contract situation at Arsenal and his plans, Alexis Sanchez opened up to the Chilean media saying he wants to play in the Champions League and that he ‘made up his mind’.
With only a year in his current Arsenal deal, Alexis Sanchez is sitting on the crossroads and the Gunners have a big decision to make. Arsene Wenger is adamant the Chilean will not be sold to a Premier League rival which initially rules out Manchester City from the race.
Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have already turned their heads away from the Arsenal star man, and now the French media outlet Le Parisien claims that Paris Saint-Germain have emerged as the frontrunners for his signature.
Having found themselves in a deadlock over Kylian Mbappe transfer, PSG are eyeing Sanchez as the viable alternative and are reportedly ready to meet his high wage demands to take him to Parc des Princes stadium.
