PSG rekindle interest in Brahimi

Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are weighing up summer bid for FC Porto midfielder Yacine Brahimi, A Bola has quoted Algerian media as saying.

The Saints are in the market for midfield reinforcements and boss Unai Emery is a big fan of the Algeria hotshot.

The boss wanted to sign Brahimi while he was at Sevilla, but the midfielder eventually decided to join FC Porto from Granada.

The 27-year-old has since impressed playing for the Dragons in Portugal and Europe, bagging a total of 28 goals in less than three years.

Brahimi appears to have set his sights on leaving Estadio do Dragao for greener pastures at the end of the current campaign and there are no doubts Paris Saint-Germain are one of his main suitors.

The Saints take on Angers on the road on Friday evening and they can be backed at 2/7 to claim maximum points and place extra pressure on leaders Monaco.
