PSG set to offload Hatem Ben Arfa

Le Parisien has suggested that Paris Saint-Germain are ready to cash in on summer recruit Hatem Ben Arfa.

The Saints pipped a host of other top clubs to agree a Bosman deal for the France international last summer, but the former Newcastle United star has since struggled to prove his worth.

And even though Ben Arfa is adamant he is ready to fight for his place at Parc des Princes, recent reports suggest that PSG would consider selling him for €20 million in the summer.

There are quite a few top sides interested in offering the forward an escape route from Paris, including Sevilla, Southampton, AC Milan and AS Roma.

Chances are that all these clubs will find the asking price to be over the top, meaning that the Saints will have to lower their demands if they want to get rid of Ben Arfa.

Following the utterly disappointing exit from the Champions League, PSG are priced at 5/6 to defend the league title.
