PSG stand firm on Mbappe

According to a recent report from Fabrizio Romano, Paris Saint-Germain are standing firm regarding the future of Kylian Mbappe.

The Frenchman has made no secret of the fact that he’s no longer happy with the Ligue 1 kings, seemingly confirming that he wants to leave in search of pastures new.

Alas, PSG are well aware that he feels this way, and they’re resting easy knowing that he signed a new contract earlier this year.

Mbappe has slowly but surely become the kind of player who seems intent on making waves, even though he should probably be letting his football do the talking for him.

The 23-year-old first burst onto the scene during the 2018 World Cup and while what he was able to achieve in Russia was pretty special, his international exploits haven’t been great since then.

He’s getting it done domestically but with no Champions League title to his name, it makes a bit more sense why he’s throwing his toys out of the pram.
