PSG step up chase for Atal

Paris Saint-Germain are nowhere near completing their squad for the 2019-20 season, at least it looks that way. The Parisian club has already signed several players, but could also be losing Neymar to Barcelona. However, this time it is a rumour about the potential arrival of Youcef Atal.

According to Le Parisien, the champions of France now have to look closely at their right-back targets, as Dani Alves’ departure has left a hole on the right side of their defence. Thomas Meunier did not convince anyone so far and there are not many available right-backs at the highest level.

Atal could be solution, as the Nice’s 23-year-old had a really good side on the right wing last season, scoring six goals in Ligue 1. It would definitely be step up for Atal to move to PSG, while Meunier remains on a contract until June 2020. As for Nice, no one believes they could fend off the interest from PSG.
