Paris Saint-Germain have moved to the front of the queue for Benfica forward Eduardo Salvio, O Jogo has revealed.
It is no secret the Argentine winger is followed by a number of Europe’s top clubs following some impressive displays on domestic and international stage last season.
And while none of the interested sides seem prepared to meet Benfica’s €40 million valuation of the player, Paris Saint-Germain have given them a real food for thought with a €32 million proposal.
The Saints seem determined to lure the 23-year-old to Parc des Princes, with their latest offer a real testament of club’s ambition.
Given the circumstances, the Eagles are expected to seriously consider the latest proposal, although it remains to be seen whether they can agree a transfer fee with the French giants.
Eduardo Salvio has largely impressed since arriving from Atletico Madrid last summer, scoring 10 goals in 29 league matches for the club.
