French daily newspaper L’Equipe has suggested that Paris Saint-Germain have emerged as favourites to sign Atalanta hotshot Franck Kessie.
The Saints will attempt to agree a deal with the Serie A side by the end of the month and they are expected to start the bidding at €25 million.
The objective is to learn whether Atalanta are ready to do business in the January window and what is their asking price for the Ivory Coast star.
Franck Kessie has enjoyed a season to remember at Atalanta, scoring 6 goals in 16 Serie A appearances and he is currently trying to help the Elephants progress to the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations quarter-finals.
The central midfielder is followed by just about any top side from Italy, but Paris Saint-Germain are the first club ready to submit an official proposal for the highly rated footballer who clearly has a great future ahead of him.
