Paris Saint-Germain have been mentioned last summer mostly for their incoming and outcoming players. There was the Neymar saga that ultimately ended without anything really happening, there was the Mauro Icardi move that occurred on the last day of the window and some other deals both in and out of the club.
But now that the transfer window is over, the club is ready to tie down some of the players they already have at disposal. PSG are hoping to extend the contract of Marquinhos, according to Le10Sport. The 25-year-old defender/midfielder joined the Ligue 1 champions from Roma back in 2013 and has become one of the most important members of the squad at Parc des Princes.
There were talks this summer that PSG rejected a bid from Juventus for the Brazilian and now they are ready to offer him a new deal. His current contract is set to expire in June 2022.
