Paris Saint-Germain are considering rescinding the contract of Sergio Ramos, according to reports in France.
The veteran centre-back left Real Madrid as a free agent this summer after 16 years, 671 matches in all competitions and 101 goals, and joined PSG on a two-year contract. However, he is yet to have his debut for the French club due to a series of injuries, mostly related to an ankle. PSG have anticipated his return to action on several occasions, only to be disappointed by setback after setback.
And according to Le Parisien (via Marca) , they are finally losing their patience and contemplating the possibility of parting ways with the 35-year-old former Spain captain, without his foot ever touching the turf at the Parc des Princes in a competitive game. They would, however, need to work out an agreement with Ramos in order to make it happen.
The last time Ramos played a game was on May 5th, in Real Madrid’s 2-0 defeat at the hands of Chelsea in the Champions League semifinals.
