Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are all keen on adding Leicester City defender Ricardo Pereira to their respective squads, according to various reports in England.
The Ligue 1 champions are preparing for the departure of Thomas Meunier, with the Belgian out of contract in summer, for free. Spurs parted ways with Kierran Trippier who went to Atletico Madrid not so long ago, leaving Serge Aurier as the undisputed first choice for the right-back position. Aurier hasn’t exactly been performing to standards expected for a top Premier League side, and the potential addition of Pereira could prove an important one.
On the other hand, United spent a lot of money to acquire the services of Aaron Wan-Bissaka last summer, and if the reports linking them with Pereira are true, one can only assume that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer isn’t impressed with the level of competition for the spot provided by the presence of Diogo Dalot.
Meanwhile, Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers has made it clear that none of his regular players would be leaving the club in January.
