PSG want Arsenal star to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic

French champions Paris Saint-Germain have identified Arsenal winger Alexis Sanchez as a replacement for departing striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic according to AS Chile.

Arsenal’s faltering form this season has caused speculation regarding Alexis Sanchez’s potential move away from the Emirates with Real Madrid believed to be interested to step in and bring former Barcelona man to Santiago Bernabeu.

However, AS Chile claims that Paris Saint-Germain have joined the race eager to bring the Chilean star as a direct replacement for Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic who is coming to an end to his days at Parc des Princes.

Alexis Sanchez is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal with the Gunners, but the Chilean has two more years on his current deal and could consider his future at the end of the season.

The Chilean winger has been one of the Premier League’s star performers since his move to Arsenal in 2014.

Sanchez has so far scored 36 goals in 80 matches for Gunners and has become a real fan favourite at the Emirates stadium.
