Paris Saint-Germain want Casemiro to be a part of the deal if Real Madrid are to come calling for Neymar, according to Marca.
The Ligue 1 champions insisted Neymar wasn’t for sale for a long time, but now club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi says that any player who doesn’t wish to work harder will be allowed to leave. The behaviour of stars is no longer welcome at the Parc Des Princes, and the Brazilian has been put up for sale with a €220 million price tag around his neck.
Real have long been credited with interest, and it appears that Casemiro might go the other way. The report says that the defensive midfielder is likely to lose some importance under Zinedine Zidane, should the summer end in the way they plan. Eder Militao, Luka Jović, Eden Hazard and Ferland Mendy have already boosted the Frenchman’s first-team options.
Casemiro is happy in Madrid, but having won three consecutive Champions League titles with the club, he apparently wouldn’t be opposed to a new challenge should a worthy opportunity present itself.
