PSG want Gueye

According to a report from L’Equipe, Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye is being heavily linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain. The French champions appear to be preparing for a very busy few weeks, as they attempt to bolster their ranks ahead of the second half of the season.

PSG boss Thomas Tuchel is said to have spoken with Gueye personally, explaining how he would fit into their current system at the club. They’re also said to have hired agent Pini Zahavi to speed the process along, but there’s an obvious issue standing in the way: Everton themselves.

The Toffees finally appear to be turning a corner in the Premier League under Marco Silva, and the last thing that they’ll want is to lose a key player in the middle of the season. If they do, then we can expect a pretty frantic final few days of the window at Goodison Park.
