According to Mundo Deportivo, Paris Saint-Germain are pursuing the idea of making a bid for Toni Kroos. The Real Madrid midfielder is widely considered to be one of the best in his position in Europe, although he hasn’t exactly enjoyed a strong start to the season with Real – in the sense that the whole squad has been struggling to piece together any kind of real consistency.
Thomas Tuchel is interested in adding some real quality to the French champions’ midfield, especially given that they want to start challenging on a European front as well as just domestically. Kroos is viewed as the ideal candidate for that role, and the general belief is that PSG’s owners would be more than happy to stump up the cash for the move.
The 28 year old has been with Real ever since joining from Bayern Munich back in 2014, and he’s established himself as a firm fan favourite ever since.
