PSG want Lucas Paqueta

According to reports in France, Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Lucas Paqueta following their failure to sign a midfielder in the summer. The French champions were desperate to try and bring in a major midfielder before the window shut, but they weren’t able to get the job done – and now, their attention already seems to be turning towards January.

The 21-year-old Paqueta has been turning heads over the last few years in Brazil, to the point where he’s already being tipped for superstardom with the Brazilian national team. He has been the subject of interest from a series of different European clubs, but it seems as if the finances that PSG possesses could give them the advantage.

The release clause in his contract is believed to be around £45 million, which is a fee that they won’t hesitate to pay. When the window opens, however, don’t be surprised to see other clubs come in for him.
