According to a recent report from L’Equipe, Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has made it clear that he is going to put the renewal of Kylian Mbappe’s contract ahead of pretty much anything else in the club’s priority list. The 20 year old is believed to be the face of the club by many, even surpassing Neymar in that regard.
His current deal is set to expire in 2022 so they still have a few years left to get something sorted, but with Real Madrid making it clear that they want to try and put forward a bid of some kind, you have to wonder whether or not PSG are going to be ousted in this ‘power struggle’ for Mbappe’s services.
The young Frenchman has made it clear that he would entertain the idea of a move away, but it’s never quite been clear as to which direction he’d end up turning in.
