According to a recent report from L’Equipe, French champions Paris Saint-Germain are interested in the possibility of signing Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. Sergej has been a wanted man for quite some time now, but the French side may not be able to match the estimation of £62 million that has been put forward by Lazio. They would be at risk of breaking the Financial Fair Play rules if they did so, and they already seem to have more than enough issues in that department.
PSG have the potential to be a force to be reckoned with one again in the realms of European football, but it’s going to take some time before they can adequately build themselves back up. It’s going to be a busy summer transfer window for them one way or another, but it feels like that’ll probably be more for outgoings than incomings – although they do tend to be a bit unpredictable.
