According to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Paris Saint-Germain are being tipped to make Mauro Icardi’s current loan move a permanent deal sooner rather than later. The belief is that he will end up costing them in the region of £60 million, and while some may think that’s a bit steep, others will view it as something of a bargain in today’s climate.

Icardi has scored seven in seven for PSG since arriving in the French capital and shows no signs of slowing down just yet. PSG are preparing for what could wind up being a ruthless few transfer windows for them, as they attempt to bounce back up to the top of the rankings in European football.

Either way, Icardi’s controversial past with Inter Milan seems to slowly be fading away, and in place of that, an incredibly well-rounded forward who is capable of scoring loads of goals has emerged.
