Paris Saint-Germain have kept a low profile during the summer transfer.
Having invested great sums of money last year to bring Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, Les Parisiens are however said to be preparing another big-money offer; this time for Barcelona talent Ousmane Dembele.
According to reports coming from Mundo Deportivo, PSG have put wheels into motion by making initial contact with the player’s representatives over a potential summer deal. Ousmane Dembele is under a whopping release clause set at £360 million.
Barcelona invested €105 million to bring the Frenchman from Borussia Dortmund last summer and won’t be rushed into selling Dembele. The club officials are aware that PSG is the player’s dream however and won’t rule out the possibility of letting him go.
Dembele struggled to make his presence known for the Catalans last season.
Having been brought as a direct replacement for Neymar, he largely struggled to adapt and ended up playing mere 17 La Liga matches last season with only three goals next to his name.
