Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain have yet to decide whether they will be making a move for Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez, according to Le Parisien.
It is no secret that the Saints chiefs want the Chilean at Parc des Princes, but some members of the board are worried that his arrival could have a negative effect on Edinson Cavani, who has been nothing short of outstanding this season.
At the same time, Paris Saint-Germain have yet to choose a new sporting director to replace Oliver Letang, and it is his successor that should have the final say on signing Alexis Sanchez.
The Chilean looks increasingly likely to leave the Emirates in the summer transfer window, as his contract is due to expire in June 2018, and club’s failure to challenge for major honours could be the final straw.
Arsenal sit seven points behind Champions League positions with a game in hand and they are 8/1 chance to achieve a top 4 finish.
