Paris Saint-Germain full-back Marcos Ceara explains he is unhappy with his new status at the club.
The Brazilian has been one of the most consistent performers for the Saints in the first part of the season, but he was relegated to the bench by new coach Carlo Ancelotti.
In the absence of better solutions, the Italian boss has started deploying centre-back Milan Bisevac as a right-back, while leaving Ceara on the bench or in the stands.
The player, whose contract at Parc des Princes is set to expire at the end of the season, believes that Ancelotti is doing this so as to make him leave the club.
“I just want him (Carlo Ancelotti) to tell me what I have to do to have a chance of being in the side,” Ceara said to France Football.
“But, nothing will change. This is all a strategy to make me leave.”
Ceara joined PSG in a €2 million deal from Internacional in August 2007 and soon established himself as an important player for the club.
The 31-year-old 19 Ligue 1 appearances this season, but he failed to start any of PSG’s last four league games.
