Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi seems to be considering his options after losing his place in the starting line-up, reports Le Parisien.
The 27-year-old established himself as an undisputed starter at Parc des Princes shortly after arriving from Saint Etienne, and even if he was on the verge of leaving the Saints for Manchester City, he eventually extended his contract and remained at the club.
However, having missed a big chunk of pre-season training due to his participation at the 2014 World Cup, Matuidi has been dropped from the starting line-up, with Javier Pastore preferred to him in the opening exchanges.
The midfielder is believed to be concerned by the latest developments, and, unless the situation changes, he may request to leave in the winter.
Matuidi has largely impressed since joining the Saints three years ago, scoring a total of 11 goals in 105 Ligue 1 appearances for the club.
