Competition: Champions League
Market: PSV and Man Utd to draw
Odds: 12/5 @ Ladbrokes

PSV Eindhoven welcome the visit of Manchester United in the Champions League on Tuesday night, with the visitors in great shape to pull off an impressive win in the Netherlands. Facing the Dutch Eredivisie champions in their own backyard is certainly one of the hardest fixtures the Red Devils will have in the group, so they would likely accept less this week.

PSV won’t be slouches, however. The home side have also been in good form in their domestic league this season, and are coming off the back of a five-game unbeaten run in the division – boasting a 100% record on home soil. Top scorers early on in the campaign, opponents Manchester United will need to be on their guard against the Dutch outfit given their threat in attack.

Premier League flop Luuk De Jong has found his scoring boots back in his native country, and leads the scoring charts with five Eredivisie goals in as many games. Jurgen Locadia has three goals in just 42 minutes of league football, so United shouldn’t under estimate their opposition. The visitors are one side who can nullify PSV when looking at their defensive record.

Three wins and a draws from their first five games in the Premier League, Louis van Gaal’s men also have three clean sheets. Their manager knows the Eredivisie very well from his time spent managing in the division, and is sure to have researched PSV extensively. United would love to start their European campaign with a win, but they may be forced to settle for slightly less on the road.
